3 Smoothie Recipes So Good You’ll Forget You’re Drinking Vegetables

Once I dreamt of working in a smoothie store. I was the perfect candidate: experienced, dedicated and with a personal passion for the art of smoothie making. But alas, I was not hired. Now I’m just an ice cream scooper/call center employee with a smoothie making hobby. And for this reason I would like to share with you some personal creations that are so delicious you forget you’re eating vegetables.

1. Lots of Berries!!! (I’m bad at naming stuff)

this one is super yummy and energizing and a pretty purple color 🙂


2.5 cups frozen spinach (or any vegetable you prefer, I just had spinach lying around.)

1 frozen Acai berry puree pouch

1.5 cups frozen strawberry

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 banana

2 tablespoons ancient grain blend

2 tablespoons Vanilla hemp protein powder

2 cups water


2. Green and Tropical

This one is so refreshing and light, perfect for a summer day!


2 cups frozen spinach

1 banana

1/4 cucumber (basically from the big full size cucumber)

1.5 cups pineapple

1 cup frozen mango

2 tablespoons ancient grain blend

2 tablespoons flaxseed

3 cups water

3. Sweet Banana-Strawberry-Chocolate

this one is so sweet and good it tastes like ice cream if you freeze it!!


2 cups spinach

2 cups frozen strawberry

1 banana

2 tablespoons flaxseed

3 scoops Trader Joe’s whey protein powder chocolate flavor (product placement?? nooo)

2.5 cups almond milk


So blend up these little smoothies and enjoy a summery treat 🙂
